Wow! It was another whirlwind tour: Seattle (Bastyr University), Ft. Bragg, CA (Vibrant Living Expo), San Francisco and Orlando. “Supercharge Me!” was received very well everywhere it went. It played to packed houses and at the Vibrant Living Expo in Mendocino County, CA, the venue was so full that people were standing in the back and sitting in the aisles. I got to indulge myself in gourmet raw food at Chaco Canyon Cafe in Seattle, The Living Light Cafe in Ft. Bragg and Cafe Gratitude & Alive Cafe in San Francisco. It was wonderful to meet so many beautiful people along the journey. I’ll be posting some photos soon.
The Central Florida Film Festival was just last weekend and “Supercharge Me!” was a finalist for the best Florida film. What an honor! I met many amazing filmmakers, most much more seasoned than I. It was great to commisserate with them and learn from their experiences. I saw a lot of great films. Some of my favorites were “Finding Kraftland,” “Desert Rose,” and “One of Our Own.” I also took a seminar on film finance, which was hosted by industry pros from L.A. I learned a lot of things I wish I’d known when I started this project, but better late than never.
Great news! We’re about to launch the “Supercharge Me! Podcast.” It will be a weekly video program, 5-10 minutes in length, about various topics relating to health and the raw food lifestyle. The first podcast, called, “What is Raw Food?” launches today. It features Brian Clement, Ben Vereen and others. It can be found right here on the site, as well as on iTunes, YouTube and other podcast sites.
